Profile

After intensive training in wrestling, heavy-lifting and 15 years of active duty as a member of the US Delta Force, the Mercenary is not a man to mess around with. His muscle strength is inferior to none and this enables him to carry massive amounts of armor.

As his strength increased his speed suffered, but nobody can outrun bullets, which the Mercenary has plenty of. His attitude about being the strongest man eventually was reason to be expelled from the military. Now he sells his skills to the highest bidder, no questions asked.

His equipment consists of high-tech gadgets and vision modes, like Electro-Magnetic Field vision and Motion Tracking. "It's easier to be notified of movement, than having to patrol when you're bulky with guns and armor" he says.

Frag Grenades

The MKV-203 is a high-explosive fragmentation grenade and is launchable from a standard M203 grenade launcher. However, unlike the standard M203 shell, the MKV-203 is detonated by a timed solid-state fuse rather than by impact. This timed fuse allows the user to launch the grenade into hard to reach locations by bouncing it off of objects, walls and ceilings.

Mines

Mines come in a few variaties: motion-triggered explosive, laser-triggered explosive and the laser-triggered poison mine called the Dioxin Mine. This experimental mine is filled with the deadly chemical dioxin. This payload is shot into the object that breaks the laser, with a high-powered hypodermic dart. The dioxin blurs vision and slowly drains health.

RF-Tracker

The RF-Tracker or 'Tracker' is a portable security device using a laser trip-wire to sense when an intruder has passed within range. When the laser is interrupted a small radio frequency tracking module is fired at the target via compressed air, attaching itself to the target. Once active, the module provides telemetry data for a limited time.

Proximity Sensor

The Proximity Sensor is a very small low-profile device that generates high-frequency pulses. The first pulse is used to capture data on the surrounding architecture and objects via reflected sound waves. Any abnormalities from the initiallly captured data will trigger an alert displaying the location on the Mercenary's HUD.
